Pennsylvania Grass Spider

Agelenopsis pennsylvanica

Description:

Despite being called a Pennsylvania grass spider, its range is considerably broader. This one was found in Chicago.

Habitat:

It was sitting in its trademark funnel shaped web with an opening about the size of my fist. The web receded into a hollow log.
