Description:

This bright yellow wild flower is about 1.5 inches in diameter. It grows on a bush that stays low to the ground and spreads like a ground cover plant. I found it along a canal bank in western Boca Raton, FL. There is also a green crab spider in the flower.

Habitat:

Along a fresh water canal in western Boca Raton,FL.

Notes:

The bug on the flower is a green crab spider (Misumena vatia)
