Squash Bee

Peponapis pruinosa

Description:

Adorably fuzzy bee with white tip on its nose. The wings are dark. There are dark stripes on the abdomen that are fairly narrow. This bee was very brave and wouldn't move unless I touched the flower.

Habitat:

Squash (I believe zucchini) in the garden.

yup ! :)

Thank you :) I think this bee is adorable. It has a long proboscis! Emma, the second and third images show both antennae.
