Coprinellus micaceus or similar

Description:

cluster of small honey brown mushrooms with pale granules adhering to caps. Caps small less than 3/8 in. diameter, bell shaped, margin grooved. Gills crowded tan. Stem, hollow.

Habitat:

growing from an oak, just above another (polypore) fungus

Notes:

these are a very small and very dense cluster of what appear to be immature mushrooms of in the Coprinus neighborhood
