A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
This little guy is so small, only 4 mm, that it's flashes are scarcely noticeable among those of the larger species in the same area that is 1.5 cm long (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/228...). The two species overlap in space and time. Family Lampyridae.
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
