Description:

Very loud 6 to 8 inch tall parrot like bird with grey front and face as well as stomach. Bright green wings, back and tail with a dark blue under feathers. Several individuals, very social.

Habitat:

Everglades foraging in a bald cypress stand in a tourist park. These individuals were drinking fresh rain water from puddles and observing the tourists for possible "hand outs."
