Judas' Ear Fungus

Auricularia auricula-judae

Description:

A brown colored, ear-like shape fungus. Photo # 2 shows the underside of the fungus when the sunlight seems to change the fungus' color from brown to orange.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on a tree bark (urban area)

Notes:

Locally known in the Philippines as "Taingang Daga" (Rat's ear)
