Brown-headed Barbet

Description:

Green bird with streaked brown head, neck and breast. Yellow feather-less eye patch. The bill is thick and red. It has bristles above the beak.

Habitat:

Hides in green foliage of tall trees. Loves fruit, so frequents fruit-bearing trees. Here it is eating a semi-ripe mango. Caught in the act!
