Tree Cotton

Gossypium arboreum

Habitat:

This was a shrub-like plant growing against a fence demarcating the garden attached to a house from the path outside. It was flanked by other shrubs such as Lantana and Henna etc. it was obviously not a part of the garden as it was not tended to. There was just one such plant in the entire area which was not part of an agricultural field
