Description:

A small falcon with barrings on chest. Lower belly has fewer stripes and thighs have none.Females have yellow eyes; males have red. This one is a female.

Habitat:

Open wooded areas. This one was found in the extensive office cum residential grounds of a government establishment which is surrounded by huge tracts of agricultural land no doubt supplying lots of rodents for this bird.
