Barn Swallow

Hirundo rustica

Description:

They have a dark back and head with a light belly. The color of the forehead and chin can vary in how dark they are, but they will always match in color whereas similar swallows have a white forehead.

Habitat:

These guys were all sitting on a tree right next to a bridge, and being very noisy. Swallows are commonly seen flying around bridges where they nest, feeding on insects.
