Libellula luctuosa
This dragonfly ranges from 1" - 2" and has a black to dark brown body with yellow stripes. the wings that are black next to the body and transparent on the end. This coloration is characteristic of both females and juveniles. The adult males markings are mush different than the females of juvenile male.
