Coreid Bug

Description:

Heavy black Coreid bug I haven't ever seen before. It has a white heart on the scutellum and stumpy spikes on the hind femora. The tips of the antennae are red, about 3 cm long.

Habitat:

Overgrown field, semi-urban area, outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
