Description:

Solitaire male wapiti; large hoofed animal (2.5m length, 1.5m shoulder height). Head mane is dark brown, longer than the golden brown body coat. Antlers are large; 4 years adults have 6, rarely 7 or 8, ramifications to a side.

Habitat:

Wandering in Yellowstone National Park alpine tundra.
