Silver ragwort

Jdacobaea maritima

Description:

Silver Ragwort. Also called "Dusty Miller." With its soft, silvery leaves (like felt), dusty miller is typically grown as an annual foliage plant. It is actually a perennial that will flower after the first year. The silver color of this plant complements brightly colored flowers. If it does survive into its second summer, this species produces mustard yellow flower heads about 1 inch across. Drought tolerant. A great plant to accent your flower bed.

Habitat:

My flower bed.
