Wingspan: males 32-36 mm females 34-38 mm Flight Period: Year round with peak in early summer and autumn in southern Africa. Features: There are usually three clear ocelli on the hindwing underside.

Habitat:

Distribution: most of sub-Saharan Africa. Lowveld savanna/forest

Seen at Sara camp in Mlawula National park
