Description:

Large wading bird with long, yellowish orange bill. Wings have a dramatic black patch. Beyond that is a pink patch near the tail which is a bright contrast..

Habitat:

On the far side of a waterbody along the busy highway leading to Mysore city, Karnataka, India.

Notes:

There were many other species of birds and the storks were walking swiftly up and down...moving pretty fast.
