Celastrina neglecta

Description:

Small butterfly with pale bluish gray underwings and body. Small black markings (stripes, dots and waves). Antennae striped black and white with orange on the very tips. Pale blue on the inside of the wings can be seen when the butterfly is in flight.

Habitat:

Cedar Creek County Park, New York. Archery range nectaring at the White Clover blossoms.
