Water Strider nymph

Description:

Immature insect that skims on top of the water. The nymph has white spots on the top of the abdomen. The thorax has a pattern on it. This genus can be determined by the length of the hind tibia which is at least 4 times as long as the metatarsomere.

Habitat:

Stream in riparian mixed forest
