Centropus sinensis
Large crow-like bird, head and tail is black, neck is metallic black, while wings and upper back is red-ish brown, eyes are blood red and I suspect is part of the reason why this birds calls are considered a bad omen in some parts of its distribution-range.
Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.
