dog vomit slime mould

Fuligo septica

Description:

I spotted this mould (Mycetozoa, not really a fungus), on a fallen treetrunk in an oak forest. It measured about 25 cm across and had a spongy appearance.

Notes:

I am not at all sure about the ID, so if anyone can come up with a better idea?
