Small passerine. Crest dotted in black and white. Black chin. Red eyes. Top is grey brown and chest and belly white yellowish.
Common resident breeder in coniferous forests. Found in the woodlands of Loch Garten osprey observatory, where they place numerous feeders to atract birds.
