Thanks Karen! I was thinking the same thing, but these mesh weavers cover the entire leaf with fine strands. You can see them in the upper right-hand corner of the first pic. Nature is pretty awesome!

That's incredible! I wonder how the spider managed to catch such big prey. Dragonflies catch in webs will often eat the spider!
