Anomoia purmunda
A small fly found on a tree leaf

I did not see the word "Ma'am" in the text below! This is a very serious sign for a human decay... Too much cake, movies and coffee! I can tell!
OK just kidding! I just thought that you forgot, a man can forget you know... :P
Hahaha, Tina you get scary when identifying :). I don't have anything for this one. The photo shows everything except where it was found so had to write that. If it was found on some specific flower or on a waste then would have given clues in what genus to look at :)
Faredin, "found on a tree leaf", how on earth do you think that will help us out, huh??? haha! Show me what you got Mr Biolog!!! lol
And ye, I noticed that too. Not similar at all... Close, but no cigar!
Tina, that's OK maybe you should focus on your work so later you don't blame me :). That genus has only 3 species in Denmark and none fit mine so must be another genus. Thanks, Jemma! It is similar but there are many of these to choose from :)
You are right Jemma, it it better to take one steu up in the ID tree and look in a broader perspective in the Tephritidae family...
Sorry dear, I thought I was on something... But now I am not so sure anymore... I thought for a while that this was a Rhagoletis sp... But I have not managed to find any pictures with the same wing pattern as yours.... :(
