Blister Beetle

Mylabris pustula

Description:

Medium sized beetles (about 25 mm) with black head, thorax and abdomen.

Notes:

Wouldn't want to get in front of it, for it looked rather huge. Found it on the vincas after a heavy rain this morning!! Find them flying around sometimes during the wet spell.
