Leste congener
Adults will average about 3.35 cm (1.4 in) in length. The abdomen of the male (shown) is dark with narrow shoulder stripes. The last two abdomen segments are light colored. Pruniosity on the thorax increases with age. The species gets its common name from two spots on the lower side of the thorax.
I photographed this individual at the margin of a deciduous forest/suburban yard.
