Ball Lichen

Sphaerophorus venerabilis

Description:

Green coral-looking lichen. It looks almost rubbery but the branches were actually firmer to the touch than I expected. I don't find this species often, but I found quite a few at this location

Habitat:

Found on spruce trees and spruce cones
