Hypogymnia occidentalis

Description:

Appressed, puffy lobes, with short bud-like side lobes, often rugose upper surface, conspicuous perforations in lobe tips. Very light green to white upper surface with black specs. Lower surface is black. Apothecia is brown.

Habitat:

Spotted on a fir tree limb next to the Cle Elum river.
