! million spottings! I would have had to be born in the dinosaur age to achieve that,
i saw at least 5 types of different galls.
BTW thanks for introducing "Galls " to PN! Doubt it if I would have known their existence otherwise.

The number of insects in existence is phenomenal. Years ago, the local museum analysed the number of insects that inhabited a single large tree. They netted, fumigated and counted and cataloged them all and came to over 1 million!
