Bald Eagle

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Notes:

This guy came to SOS due to bird pox. Because we didn't have the permits to keep or rehab a bald eagle, we sent him to another rehab center.

We did the same in CROW once for an Eagle that lost part of a wing due to electrocution. I helped transport it in my arms and was amazed by the size! It was larger than a turkey!
