Found in grass and shrub in general area of woods, marsh, and short distance from lake.
Spotted at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge in shop area.
Thanks for the correction. Reference book I was using could have had a better photo.
It is the other one. Look at the spots on the hindwing. In Cardui they are all of almost the same size and the little white spot within the orange patch is missing.
