Red fox

Vulpes vulpes

Description:

This cute fox was found during a field trip of our Biology course. Is the largest of the true foxes and the most abundant member of the Carnivora, being distributed across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, Central America and Asia.

Habitat:

It was found in a montado (dehesa) area, in Monfragüe National Park, (Spain).

Notes:

It was searching for food near the road.
