Description:

Prettily patterned in cream, rust, black and blue temple-like design on wing edges.

Habitat:

At Khardungla Pass, Ladakh:altitude over 18,000 ft. Barren and icy.

Notes:

Where are the eggs laid? On what do the caterpillar feed. The adult was fluttering over the urine of pack animals and uncouth males who had urinated in the open (sorry).
