Thanks experts for making favourite.
I'll do that. Pl keep me guiding. Thanks a lot, Karen.
Hi Namgya, I've corrected the ID for you. In future, you can do this yourself in "Edit". You need to uncheck the "Help me ID this species" box before you can change the details. If as in this case, you only have the common name & not the actual species, you should tick the box again once you have updated the common name so that the spotting comes on on searches of unidentified organisms & our community can help you find the ID.
Please, change the common name. It would be Fulgorid Planthopper, it is not a beetle. The scientific name you can open, if you do not get an ID within 1 or 2 weeks, you might add Fulgoridae in the scientific name field. Thanks.
Thanks pals for making it a favorite.
Pretty!
Thanks for the comments. It was quite interesting to watch it run forward for a few cms and moon-walk backwards. It went on repeating the same till I had to move on.
I love the name of the hopper too.
Beautiful creature!! :)
Nice Planthopper! This would be a great addition to The Hoppers mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8096...
Fulgoridae, Fulgorid Planthopper I would say.
