Hieraaetus pennatus
Juvenile of the pale form. Picture taken from a far distance, I had to try many times until I got a couple of decent ones. There is a pale and a dark form. It is a small eagle, with white underside and a broad round head. The juveniles present the wig coverts with a white edge. It is a summer visitor to Spain, Portugal, France and East Europe.
Spotted at a riverine forest close to a small town. Segovia
