Description:

An Australian wild dog, Dingo. It was limping as it was heading to a water puddle (a huge one) in Uluru (Ayers Rock), Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Northern Territory, Australia.

Habitat:

Uluru (Ayers Rock), Northern Territory, Australia is a desert. At the time of finding, the desert was quite green as it has just received a once-in-a-decade rain period.

It was. We were right there on the trail when I saw. I have pics. Thought I'd uploaded them, but I must have skipped right past them. I'll remedy that, once I get done with my Melbourne area pics :)

Looks a lot like the ones I saw after the once in a century rain last December. Children were using the "giant puddle" as a swimming pool complete with water slide
