Taxis cuspidata
Evergreen large shrub. It has dark green needles with small red berries and is very toxic to animals, but a great ornamental shrub on the east coast. This yew bush is very tall in comparison to other yews on campus. One can stand under and inside of the shrub comfortably!
It marks the boundaries of a popular, scenic path on campus. Students have used it as a hiding place for capture the flag! More commonly students will hide within its branches to hide from campus Public Safety at night so not to get caught out of a "place of study!" -ALittlefield
