Autumn Meadowhawk

Sympetrum vicinum

Description:

This Dragonfly (least I think it's a Dragonfly and not a Damselfly) was just hanging onto this stick for the longest time. Such a pretty colour.

Habitat:

flower bed

It is a dragonfly and it is probably a Sympetrum species, but I know little about non-European dragonflies. If you post it to the Global Dragonflies and Damselflies mission, somebody might be able to help.
