Chroicocephalus genei
A member of the Black-headed Gull family, the adult (first two pictures) having red bill and legs but a white head. Juveniles/immatures (pictures 3-6) have a yellowish bill and a greyish ear spot. The bill is slimmer and longer than Black-headed and slightly down-curved. Here they mix with Black-headed and Mediterranean Gulls after breeding so the 3 species can be difficult to separate for some.
Coastal marshes.
