Veronica chamaedrys
Bright blue flowers with darker veins and a white eye. Seed capsule shorter than calyx. Leaves opposite or very short-stalked, ovate, coarse-toothed, downy. Creeping or ascending straggling stems. Main stem with two rows of hairs.
Common throughout Ireland in grassland, field edges, gardens, hedges and roadsides.
