Fruiting body small. Thick, globose, smooth, white, with thin, long roots proliferating into the dull or ground, ostiole or pore forming in old age. Gleba white, yellow to deep coffee-brown at maturity. Sterile base non. Spores 3.5 round, minutely spiny, at attached pedicel. Nonpoisonous.
Grows in groups on open hard ground during cool wet periods. widely distributed.
