Description:

The large skipper (Ochlodes sylvanus) is a butterfly of the family Hesperiidae. This species occurs throughout Europe, and it can be found anywhere where wild grasses are allowed to grow tall. It was spotted while foraging on a carduus flower, in Tzoumerka mountains, Epirus region, Greece.
