Thanks for the suggestion, Patricia. Do you have any sources that I can look at to confirm the genus?
It was definitely a good day of spotting. Apparently I missed out on finding an octopus, however: a family had seen one, but by the time I got over to the place, it was gone. Even so, the tide pools were full of life, it was wonderful.
