Aplonis metallica

Description:

Body is glossy black often with an iridescent sheen of purple and green, tail is pointed. Legs and feet black, eyes red, bill black.

Notes:

This migratory bird occurs in flocks, usually associated with rainforest areas, they nest in colonies often in trees with an open architecture like Elaeocarpus.
