Greek Tortoise

Testudo graeca

Description:

large foot long tortoise

Habitat:

gardens around the Temple of Hephaestos, Agora of Athens, Acropolis base, seminatural

Notes:

There was a population of these tortoises there, feeding on LAWN! and running around, yep, pretty fast for tortoises, in the more natural needle covered grounds
