Description:

This spider had made a web from the car door to the side-view mirror of the car. Luckily the car wasn't being used much and I was able to observe this behaviour over a 2 day period. The very small male? looks like it was mating with the very large female!

Habitat:

Seen in a mountainous rainforest area between San Isidro de la General and Dominical in Costa Rica.

Nice series! These large spiders are known to have some of the strongest silk of any spider.
