Ravenel's Stinkhorn

Phallus ravenelii

Description:

A foul, putrid smell led me to this cluster of stinkhorns in a mulch bed. They appeared seemingly overnight. Other clusters nearby were covered in flies and in the process of being eaten by ants and slugs.

Habitat:

Mulch bed.
