It is 20-23.5 cm long. The plumage is mostly green apart from the head which is patterned with blue, yellow and red. There is a black stripe above the eye.

spotted this climbing Gunung Sibayak in Sumatra. I think it was injured because a local girl was able to pick it up.
Thanks for the heads up. I must have gotten it mistaken for Birds of the world.
