Mountain bluebirds can vary in appearance. This male had a blue head and back. Belly and underparts where light grey. Black eyes and dark bill. Wings dark and lighter blue. Length from 16–20 cm (6.3–7.9 in).
Spotted in the eastern Cascade foothills.
