Bornean Leopard Cat

Prionailurus javanensis borneoensis

Description:

Oramg yellowish fur with small black blotches. 2 black lines runa down the forehead to the nose. White lines between the eyes and nose bridge. From the inner eyes, 2 black lines runs down the muzzle and whiskers.

Habitat:

Lowland secondary forest with farmland and village.

Notes:

Spotted a few days before and observed. The mummy cat did not return. Upon seeking advise from the authorities,Sarawak Forestry Corporation, Wildlife Department, these 2 kittens (male and female) were sent to Matang Wildlife Center to be looked after and released in the wild when they can take care of themselves.
